DAMASCUS, SYRIA (7:40 A.M.) – 11 soldiers of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) were killed-in-action (KIA) by ISIS during a government offensive near Sabkha al-Mawah in eastern Palmyra on Friday, a bulletin released by Amaq Agency stated.

In addition, the Islamic State outlet noted a SAA tank and machine field gun were knocked out by guided missiles while a technical was destroyed by mines.

The alleged SAA death toll could not be independently verified by Al-Masdar News.
