US Vice President Mike Pence stated that ‘the Caliphate has crumbled and ISIS has been defeated’ during his remarks to the Global Chiefs of Mission conference at the US State Department in Washington DC on Wednesday.

US Vice President also mentioned that his country will “stay in the region” as well as “in the fight to ensure that ISIS does not rear its ugly head again.”

Pence stated that US President Donald Trump “has often spoken about his desire to bring an end to endless wars in America” and bring US troops home “in an orderly and effective way out of their current deployment in Syria.”

Pence’s remark came hours after at least four US soldiers were reportedly killed in a suicide blast in Manbij, according to an unidentified US official.

The same type of victories that the US had in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.
To the rest of the world they are known as defeats. They are not even pyrrhic victories.
You can guarantee That the Israel/US mercenaries of ISIS will be moved somewhere else to cause maximum disruption and mayhem, but strangely enough it won’t be anywhere near the borders of the apartheid, neo nazi state of Israel.
Go figure, ISIS= Israeli secret intelligence service 🙂

@right, there is not victory without capitulation or as long as guerrilla action continues on great scale.

But I doubt that the US has great influence on IS.

There is no victory until the loser capitulates or the head/Caliph is caught.

The US could not present either – the war goes on.

@ Stern; Indeed one would think that all these endless wars were designed to be just that … endless. In the warped logic of the US military industrial complex, to which all else is subservient, maybe victory is defined as being able to prolong conflict and cause maximum unrest and upheaval. The upshot of it all is that endless wars require endless amounts of weapons and ammunition and success as always is measured in dollar.
Read Major General Smedley Butlers ” war is a racket “, it’s very good.

It’s why Germany and Japan Korea and the like are occupied countries. There is no end of war with them. The US was also taken over as well by money interests that put us through two world wars and endless little ones along with massive exploitation and immigration to cause tension and division while the US is degraded internationally. They are re introducing the Rothschild puppet kings from there uk queen bee

@rabbe, as long as the US can print and borrow $ they do not pay.
The world pays via accepting US bonds and making payments in $.
Who benefits? Not only US military industrial complex but all the US.
