BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:00 A.M.) – Over 50 fighters from the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) have been killed in the Deir Ezzor town of Hajin over the last 48 hours, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported.

According to the SOHR report, at least 51 fighters from both the Islamic State and Syrian Democratic Forces were killed during the fierce battle for the strategic town of Hajin these past two days.

Among the 51 killed, 34 fighters were from the Islamic State, including three suicide bombers, and another 17 were from the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Since they resumed their offensive earlier this week, the Syrian Democratic Forces have managed to enter Hajin and seize several sites, including the local mosque an hospital.

So the fighting is fierce as sdf seems to get the best of it. There must be a point where IS will break, that is if SAA will not let reinforcements from the Badiya slip through, as they did earlier.
