BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:20 P.M.) – Another group of militants have surrendered themselves to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the East Ghouta region of Damascus this week, a military report claimed.
According to the military report, over 30 militants surrendered themselves to the Syrian Arab Army at the humanitarian corridor near the water resources building in Harasta.
The 30 militants will have their cases reviewed by a reconciliation committee; they will likely remain in Harasta, but will no longer have access to heavy weapons.
No further details were released.
