DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:45 P.M.) – The Syrian al-Qaeda-offshoot delivered a huge military parade in the areas they control northwest Aleppo, in a stark defiance of the Russuia-Turkey agreement.

Scores of militants on motorcycles, tanks and vehicles crossed the Haritan-kafr Hamra road to show off power in an area which had witnessed intense infighting with rival groups.

The parade comes after Russia and Turkey concluded a deal to establish a demilitarization zone along the frontlines between Syrian government and rebel groups in Latakia, Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.

Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, the al-Qaeda-affiliated jihadi faction hasn’t yet officially announced its attitude toward the deal.

Last Friday, the jihadist rebel forces in Rashiddeen 4 area launched several missiles and artillery shells towards the densely populated New Aleppo District.

In a related context, the Turkish-backed National Liberation Front (NLF) and jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham clashed in southern Idlib, with both sides trading attacks on one another’s checkpoints.

In the northern countryside of Aleppo, clashes broke out between the People’s Protection Units and the rebel and Islamic factions, on the outskirts of Marea Town, but no casualties were reported.

Did anyone see that ISIS flag toward end of video?. They hide them from western audiences but it looks as they snuck one in.

And I bet nobody thought about sending Sukhois or F-16s to spoil the party!
