BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:40 A.M.) – The Russian Aerospace Forces have not conducted any airstrikes over the Idlib Governorate in the last 48 hours, a military source told Al-Masdar News this evening.

According to the source, the Russian Aerospace Forces has not launched airstrikes over Idlib since the completion of the latest round of peace talks in the Kazakh capital of Astana.

The source added that an agreement was put in place between Turkey and Russia to halt airstrikes over the province.

In the coming weeks, the Russian and Turkey military personnel in northern Syria are expected to begin the process of reopening the Aleppo-Gaziantep Highway for the first time since 2011.
