Baghdad – On Thursday morning, a truck bomb was detonated at the Jamila Market in Sadr City that resulted in the death of 61 civilians, while another 200 were hospitalized due to the injuries they sustained from the explosion.
Sadr City is a predominately Shi’i populated district that is located in the northeastern sector of Baghdad; it was also the target of many attacks in the past, as the Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) has terrorized the civilians living inside of this densely populated with multiple bombings.
