BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:25 P.M.) – Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham has reportedly advanced inside Dara’a City this afternoon, capturing several buildings inside the Al-Manishiyah District of the provincial capital.

According to a report from the 5th Armored Division, their forces withdrew from several buildings, including the Al-Najjar building, inside the Al-Manishiyah District after the jihadist rebels took advantage of yesterday’s tunnel bomb.

The jihadist rebels are still on the offensive today, despite heavy resistance from the Syrian Arab Army soldiers positioned at the western sector of the Al-Manishiyah District.

Typically, the Syrian Arab Army waits until nightfall to launch a counter-assault in Dara’a; however, they will have to hurry because if the jihadist rebels keep advancing west, they will find themselves in big trouble.
