Turkey has been ecstatic since Trump announced he was withdrawing the U.S. military from Syria, as this allows them carry out their upcoming operation east of the Euphrates.
Initially, the Turkish military operation was facing some complications due to the U.S. military’s presence in northern Syria; however, with the American troop withdrawal, they can now launch their offensive with little fear of intervention.
