BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:45 P.M.) – The Turkish military and their allied militants have allegedly scored their first advance this week after launching several attacks on the Kurdish-led forces in northeastern Syria.

According to the reports, the Turkish military and their allied militants from the so-called “Syrian National Army” allegedly captured the town of Al-Manajeer after a fierce battle with the Syrian Democratic Forces south of Ras Al-‘Ayn.

The reports also said that at least five Turkish soldiers were wounded during the clashes and shelling that took place earlier in the day.

The Turkish military and their allies are also involved in a fierce battle at the towns of Al-Asadiyah and Al-Jafah; however, no advances have been reported at these sites south of Ras Al-‘Ayn.
