BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:05 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army is once again trying to advance in the eastern districts of Damascus city, renewing their offensive last night under cover of heavy rocket attacks.

According to military reports, storming forces of the Syrian Army is are the process of assaulting militant positions in the districts of Jobar and Ayn Tarma. The attack was proceeded by a bombardment from 30 Elephant rockets.

Syrian Army sources also say that a new commander (yet to be named) who will implement a new plan of attack to drive militant forces out of Jobar and Ayn Tarma has been placed in charge of the east Damascus operation.

As of right now, heavy clashes are reported to be going on in both Jobar and Ayn Tarma.
