BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 A.M.) – Recent satellite images that was taken on February 19th revealed the Russian Aerospace Forces’ large arsenal of warplanes at the Hmaymim Airport in southwest Latakia.
The satellite images were released by the Colonel Cassad Live Journal and they detail the large arsenal of Russian warplanes currently deployed at the Hmaymim Airport in Syria.
According to the website, the Russian Aerospace Forces have 28 warplanes stationed at the Hmaymim Airport; these include the following:
- 7 Su-24 jets
- 5 Su-25 jets
- 4 Su-30 jets
- 5 Su-34 jets
- 6 Su-35 jets
- 1 Su-57 jet
As announced last month, the fifth generation Su-57 is now deployed in Syria.
