BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:30 P.M.) – Netflix has allegedly dropped an episode of Patriot Act after it criticized Saudi Crown Prince Mohamad bin Salman, the Financial Times reported on Tuesday.

According to the Financial Times article, the Patriot Act spotlighted Prince Mohammad bin Salman and his alleged role in the October 2nd killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.

The FT article said that the episode called on the U.S. to reconsider their relationship with the Gulf kingdom over MBS’ alleged role in the killing and the ongoing conflict in Yemen.

“We strongly support artistic freedom worldwide and only removed this episode in Saudi Arabia after we had received a valid legal request — and to comply with local law, ” the Netflix statement read, as quoted by FT.
