BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:45 P.M.) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Upper Galilee region near the Lebanese border on Wednesday, the premier’s office reported.
During his visit, Netanyahu issued a grave warning to Hezbollah about launching any attack against the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).
“If Hezbollah makes the serious mistake of attacking us or confronting what we are doing now it will face unimaginable blows,” Netanyahu’s office reported the premier as saying.
“We will pursue this operation as long as the threat of Hezbollah tunnels persists,” he added.
Netanyahu’s visit comes just a week after the Israeli Defense Forces launched “Operation Northern Shield” in the Upper Galilee region.
