Secretary-General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah warned Israel of fate it “never expected”, in case the country “imposes war” on Lebanon, during a televised address to thousands gathered for the Shiite Muslim celebration of Ashura in Beirut, on Thursday.
“I tell it [Israel]: no matter what you do to cut the road, it ended, and the resistance possesses precision rockets and other weapons. If Israel imposes a war on Lebanon, it will face a fate it has never expected.”
The Hezbollah leader also added that his organisation “possesses precision rockets” despite Israeli efforts to “cut the road” of their alleged delivery to Iran through Syria.
“It is our duty to stand by Iran, which, after a few weeks, will enter into a serious and dangerous situation: the start of US sanctions.”
Nasrallah also called the support of Iran a “duty” in the wake “of US sanctions”.
