BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 A.M.) – A group calling themselves “The Popular Resistance Forces of East Syria” have claimed a new attack against the U.S. Coalition in the Al-Raqqa Governorate tonight.

According to the group’s statement, their fighters targeted the U.S. military base at the French Lavarage Cement Factory that is located in the northern part of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.

The group then claimed that they targeted the base with surface-to-surface missiles, while vowing to continue their attacks against the U.S. Coalition until they leave Syria.

Below is the video of the group after tonight’s attack:

Despite claiming loyalty to the Syrian Arab Army (SAA), very little is know about this group other than the fact they are operating inside the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
