BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:55 P.M.) – A mysterious militia calling themselves “The People’s Resistance of East Syria” released a new video on Thursday, claiming that they targeted a U.S. base in the northern part of the province.

According to the video, the group claims they targeted the U.S. forces at the Brigade 93 Base that is located inside the town of ‘Ayn ‘Issa.

The group alleges they attacked the Brigade 93 Base with grad missiles, adding that they will do more attacks in the future.

Not much is known about The People’s Resistance of East Syria, as both the Syrian government and army have no direct links to group.

However, despite not having direct links to the government, the group claims allegiance to the Syrian state.

Allah u akhbar just means God is great. It’s not a Daesh’s copyright. Sunni, Shia, Sufi, Alawi… all of them (much so if militiamen) salute with Allah u akhbar any notable happening. SAA soldiers do it, too.
