BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:30 A.M.) – A group calling itself the “Popular Front to Resist Turkish Occupation” claimed responsibility for the attack on the Turkish military convoy in northern Syria yesterday.
Based on a statement posted by pro-YPG Hawar News Agency (ANHA), the group has claimed full responsibility for the attack and pledged to ‘cleanse’ all invaders from Syria.
“Our fighters targeted on Tuesday in January 30, 2018 in al- Atarab convoy of the Turkish occupation army and killed 3 soldiers and wounded 6 others, which was one of our operations against the Turkish occupation,” the statement began, as quoted by ANHA.
“As we pledge to God and pledge our great Syrian people to cleanse our land from all invaders and from all the shedding of our blood or encouraged and divide our people that we will not lay down arms until our land is liberated from all the invaders and those who trust in the soil of this homeland.)(Kill them God tortures them with your hands and Ikhzhm and Nmarkm them and heal the breasts of believers),” the statement concluded.
