El Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Egipto condenó los recientes dichos del Primer Ministro de Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, sobre los Altos del Golán, territorio ocupado por Israel desde 1967.

“Sus dichos son una clara violación de las leyes internacionales y sobre las resoluciones del Consejo de Seguridad y la Asamblea General de las Naciones Unidas”, aseguró la declaración.

El Ministerio egipcio también subrayó la importancia estratégica de los Altos del Golán, afirmando que su territorio es parte integral de Siria y que tarde o temprano sería liberado.

De acuerdo a la declaración, un acuerdo de paz sólo sería posible gracias a la construcción de un mutuo entendimiento, el cual sólo puede ser alcanzado a través de la completa liberación de todos los territorios palestinos ocupados.
