Israeli security departments have increasingly been on high alert as pro-Palestinian hackers vowed inclusive cyber-attacks on Quds Day.

According to informed resources, Israel’s G8 and military cyber units issued a confidential report anticipating sophisticated and massive cyber-attacks launched by anti-Israeli groups like 7 April, Quds Freedom and the Islamic Resistance.

Israeli websites were repeatedly targeted by anti-Israeli groups and individuals who support the Palestinian cause. Those hackers have significantly developed their cyber war tools, forcing Israeli authorities to leverage from the most advanced and sophisticated technologies in order to challenge the attacks.

Please treat this discussion with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource — a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through ongoing conversation.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be Agreeable, Even When You Disagree

You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

  • Name-calling
  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Only governmental organizations have enough power and means and resources to start any kind of attack against another state. No “palestinian” hackers have means, money and resources to do so. This is a game of three letter gov. organizations, a smoke screen.

Cyber security is a real threat, but it just seems like authorities are using them for excuses to get more money or otherwise to what they want.
