BEIRUT, LEBANON (6:30 P.M.) – A massive convoy of reinforcements comprised of Desert Hawks arrived in the eastern countryside of Hama this week after they received orders from their commander, Colonel Mohammad Jaber, about the upcoming offensive in eastern Salamiyah.

Video footage of the convoy was released, Wednesday, showing one of three convoys of Desert Hawks arriving in east Salamiyah for the upcoming attack on ‘Uqayrbat:

According to Al-Masdar field correspondent, Ibrahim Joudeh, the first convoy consisted of tanks, a dozen BMP-1s, and at least a dozen armored vehicles mounted with machine guns.

Two more convoys of Desert Hawks are expected to arrive in eastern Salamiyah in the coming days as they make their final preparations for this east Hama offensive.

I was wondering where the Desert Hawks had been. After refitting they will make an impact on the battle front I am sure.
