Hama, Syria (5:41 P.M.) – After recapturing seven villages from the jihadist rebels, elite units from the Syrian Army’s Tiger Forces and supporting NDF would continue their rapid advance capturing Qarah and Khafsah following hours of intense shelling.

A source exclusive to Al-Masdar News reported that over 63 fighters from Jund Al-Aqsa, Jabhat Fath Al-Sham, and Ajnad Al-Kavkaz were killed in the process while over a hundred were injured. Moreover, 3 BMPs and 2 tanks belonging to the rebels were destroyed.

The Tiger Forces aim to recapture the villages lost to the Jund Al-Aqsa terrorist group swiftly in order to resume the postponed military campaign for the strategic ISIS-held city of Al-Bab. Rebel infighting between Jund Al-Aqsa and Ahrar Al-Sham is likely to aid the Syrian Armed Forces’ campaign in northern Hama’s countryside.
