ALEPPO, SYRIA (6:55 P.M.) – The Russian Marines will officially replace the Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” along the strategic Castillo Highway in northern Aleppo.

The Tiger Forces agreed to withdraw 1 km north of the Castillo Highway in order to allow humanitarian aid groups, including the Syrian Red Crescent Society, to have access to the roadway.

In addition to Russian checkpoints, the Syrian Red Crescent Society will also have two checkpoints along the Castillo Highway; these will be used to facilitate aid and help civilians trying to leave the besieged areas.

Russian Marines reportedly came under fire today, when a group of unknown militants fired bullets at the soldiers manning the checkpoints.

Ha, look at the little arrows, implying that they’re advancing, they haven’t advanced there, or even tried to, in ages! You do the same in Latakia at areas we know the SAA aren’t attacking, as if more arrows makes such a great difference!
