BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:20 P.M.) – The Israeli military launched its first attack of the month on Syria last night, targeting a number of towns inside the Damascus Governorate.

The Syrian military reported that some Israeli projectiles were intercepted over the Homs Governorate near the Lebanese border. The projectiles were likely targeting the Al-Daba’a Airbase area, which is located near the border city of Al-Qusayr.

A Lebanese security official said that some of the Israeli projectiles were, in fact, cruise missiles that were fired from the Mediterranean. Video footage of missiles flying across Lebanon’s southern coast was captured by locals during the attack.

At least six civilians were killed during the Israeli attack, including two children inside the town of Sahnaya in western Damascus.

And the reaction in the EU regarding this act of war is as always: 0.

LOL, there were more UN resolutions singling out Israel than against… ALL OTHER COUNTRIES CUMULATED. You have the group of the 57 Muslim Countries allied with the group of the dictatorships who actually lobby the other UN countries like hëll, including using bribes or economical advantages (e.g. you’re a little country, you receive oil cheaper than market price if you vote against Israel). Some UN institutions even have became a pure shame through this lobbying : just imagine that the Human Rights Council is made of a majority of dictatorship, including all the worst human-rights violators (China, Saudi-Arabia, etc etc)… Read more »

If you think I like the Gulf monarchies more than the Ayatoilets, you’re seriously deluded. ALL these regimes are disgusting. Brits would better have waited 200 years before decolonising these areas than letting all these punks come in power.

Israel and the UK were instrumental in creating the Middle East as it is now and your bunch of thieves you are here defending works together closely with these states in order to destroy Syria, Iran, Lebanon and Iraq. Israël a racist state for (some) Jews, SA a state for Salafists. Good friends.

Note that, if, as I think, these were strikes against arms transfers from Iran to Hezbollah, I enjoin you to read UNSC res.1701 and res.1559.
Such arms transfers are absolutely illegal and any UN member state is entitled at taking measures to disarm Hezbollah, prevent arms transfers to them, etc.
You won’t complain about Israel enforcing UN resolutions, will you?

You don’t know how a UN resolution looks like.

Obviously better than you do since these are all about disarming ALL the Lebanese militias, inc. Hezb.

Israel never cared about the UN or international law. It’s born out of theft, ethnic cleansing and genocide.

+++ “And the reaction in the EU regarding this act of war is as always: 0.”
>>> Why would there be a reaction? Syria has a long time history of backing multiple terrorist organisations that did attacks in the EU. Syria has chosen to start a war on Israel in 1948 and never implied in any peace process.
Syria reaps what she has sown…
In fact, the more I see how it turned, decolonisation of the Mid-East was an error. We should have decided to wait at least 2 centuries.

Yes I known it is scandalous the Palestinians, Syrians and other Arabs and other people resisted the giant theft of Palestinian land and houses and the killing of tens of thousands. We should build statues for those thieves and mass murderers coming from Europe. Have a nice day.

What theft? In the 28,000km² of full Israel, there were barely 15,000 Arabs in 1918.
The big theft was the Arab-League expelling 1.2 millions NON ISRAELI Jews after 1948, stealing all that belonged to them : 200,000km² in real estate, about $100B in assets and belongings.
Your “Syrians and other Arabs and other people resisted” are 10x worst

“there were barely 15,000 Arabs in 1918” was some kind of census done in 1918 ???

Clearly you need a decent calculator. Your arrogance in supporting ethnic cleansing, genocide and mass theft and mass murder of even Jews shows your level of care for mankind.

Almost all of those Jews left because Zionists needed new cheap labour after they expelled and killed the Palestinians. In Bagdad they even threw bombs at worshipping Jews in order to scare therm so they would leave Iraq. With the usual Zionist propaganda you won’t get far here.

Since 2017 when it was obvious Syria won the war against Israel, the West and those Salafist thugs Israel has been bombing Syria under the pretext of Iran. It clearly would like to provoke a war destroying the whole Arab world and Iran. Israel the eternal warrior.

What war against Israel? It’s all about Qatar+Turkey trying to force their pipeline on Syria from the start and it escalated into a terrain for a stupid cold war.
If IDF was into intervening against SAA, SAA would be crushed into 48h and everybody knows it : we’re no more in 1973.

Obviously you don’t even read Israeli newspapers. The pipeline comes secondary.

Not Popeye : it has rocket engine and you hear a turbo-jet, so it’s either a Delilah or something else. Moreover, I have a hard time imagining the Delilah doing major damages and especially collateral ones : the warhead is only 30 kg, and it’s a loitering ammunition that can slow down at about 360km/h in order to allow the operator to watch the scene and so avoid casualties as much as possible. The main goal of Delilah is more going after air defence systems, it’s a pretty light weapon (187kg) Now Israel is not the only actor with cruise… Read more »

Delilah is easy to intercept..I have seen photos of many pics of this missile..in one of them a SAA soldier show intact head of one Delilah…Israel hit targets because is a matter of stadistic that if you launch missile one and one and so on…one of them hit the target!..Palestine use to do the same…and sometimes rockets hit israel in spite of Iron Dome, David Sling and Patriot!

Delilah is pretty slow (Mach 0.7), even a Korea war MiG-15 or Sabre can go after it. Although it’s a clear stand-off weapon (250km range), it’s still nothing else than a loitering ammunition and a kind of super-Hellfire : Hellfire is here to bust tanks, the main Delilah role it was created for is SEAD. In the case of the footage SyADF goes after Israeli weapons, a huge % of the blast you see are NOT interceptions but missiles’ self destructions (to avoid collateral damages, unlike the S-200 crashing on Cyprus). With Pantsir’s 57E6-E missile (the ‘standard’ one), you can… Read more »
