BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:30 P.M.) – Hezbollah member Wissam Dawlani who had been trapped in a Syrian village besieged by militants for over three years returned to Beirut on Friday, where he was received by large crowds.

Six Hezbollah fighters have been reportedly trapped in the Shi’ite villages of al-Foua and Kafriya for more than three and a half years.

One Hezbollah member, Wissam Dawlani, was received by his entire neighbourhood in southern Beirut while the rest of them headed to their villages in south Lebanon.

The six men were evacuated from the villages on Thursday, as part of an agreement that was struck between the government and opposition forces in Syria.

  • Ad hominem attacks
  • Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content
  • Knee-jerk contradiction

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.
