BEIRUT, LEBANON (11:20 A.M.) – A Lebanese woman was filmed kicking the bodyguard of a Lebanese minister in the groin during a scuffle in Beirut last night.

According to sources at last night’s protest, the people were demonstrating against government corruption when Lebanese Minister of Education Akram Chehayeb’s convoy was seen in the area.

Protesters were shouting at the minister’s convoy when the latter’s armed bodyguards got out of their vehicles and began firing their assault rifles in the air.

During one of the scuffles, a Lebanese woman is filmed kicking Chehayeb’s bodyguards in the groin. The woman and several bystanders attempted to subdue the bodyguard who brandished an assault rifle.

Lebanon erupted in protests this week following the announcement of a legislative bill to tax the people $6/month for using WhatApp.
