A Lebanese man attempted to drown his five year old child in the Tripoli suburb of Mina on Sunday, but was stopped by local residents near the Palma Beacch Resort.
The residents contacted the Lebanese Security Forces after they restrained him from killing his five year old child.
The father was arrested and handed over the Lebanese Army after local police arrived at the scene, the Lebanon-based “National News Agency” (NNA) reported on Sunday.
