Two blasts have ripped a market in Al-Sinek in central Baghdad during rush hour on Saturday killing at least 18 people according to police.
The first blast was from a car bomb with the second going off from a suicide bomber when he detonated his vest when emergency responders arrived at the scene.
A police colonel cited by AFP said at least 38 others were also injured in the blasts.
Other reports have suggested that the death toll is 21 people.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility yet, but it assumed to have been done by ISIS.
