BEIRUT, LEBANON (8:10 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) and their allies were able to expel the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorists from Albukamal after a successful operation this weekend.

What began as an operation to secure the Albukamal countryside quickly shifted to an offensive to take the city after the Syrian Arab Army sent a large convoy of reinforcements from the provincial capital to this area.

Within hours of launching the attack, the Syrian Arab Army and their allies were able to secure three quarters of Albukamal, leaving only the eastern suburbs of the left under the control of the Islamic State.

The eastern suburbs of Albukamal would be liberated by the Syrian Arab Army and their allies on Saturday after forcing the remaining 150 Islamic State terrorists to flee along the Euphrates River.

They want a confrontation with Iran & HB one way or another. They believe Saudis & US will support them in this confrontation. It is very clear that Saudis are now very clear to ensure that Iranian influence should be diminished in ME. Saudis earlier enjoyed undisputed leadership and in the last many years this has weakened and Saudis have lost their grip & Iran has consolidated its… Read more »

Hezbollah has been clear all along. They will choose where and when to retaliate. They do not think in small terms. Time and space is on their side.

I agree with all that you say except “IDF cant retaliate these launch positions.”.

Israel has never shown any remorse for the civilians that are murdered by the Israeli forces.
