BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:30 A.M.) – The Libyan National Army (LNA) continued their offensive at the outskirts of Tripoli this past weekend, scoring new advances against their rival forces from the Government of National Accord (GNA).
According to reports, the Libyan National Army captured the power station that is located north of the small town of Al-Hirah.
Following the capture of the power station, the Libyan National Army moved to the key town of Aziziyah, which was lost by their forces during the GNA’s counter-offensive.
The Libyan National Army is now heavily bombarding the capital city and its surroundings as they look to weaken the GNA’s resolve before they make another big push to capture Tripoli.
At the same time, the GNA forces are trying to recapture the Yarmouk Camp and recalim the objective near the Swami front.
