BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:05 A.M.) – The jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham launched another powerful offensive in the eastern suburbs of Damascus on Tuesday, targeting the Syrian Arab Armt’s (SAA) positions in the western and northern sectors of Jobar.

Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham began their assault by launching SVBIED attack towards the Syrian Arab Army’s defenses in northern Jobar; this would ultimately be repelled before it could reach its intended target.

Following the suicide attack, the jihadist rebels stormed several points in Jobar, seizing the large Fabric Factory after a fierce battle with the Syrian Arab Army.

The jihadist rebels would capture several other points in northern Jobar today, forcing the Syrian Arab Army to have to retreat in order to regroup.

The Syrian Arab Army hasn’t now launched a counter-offensive to regain the territory they lost on Tuesday; so far no gains reported.
