The Syrian Arab Army’s “Tiger Forces” continued their offensive in the northern Aleppo countryside on Tuesday, striking the jihadist rebel defenses at the southern farms of Al-Malaah.

Under the cover of Russian airstrikes, the Syrian Armed Forces attempted to infiltrate Jabhat Al-Nusra’s (Syrian Al-Qaeda group) front-lines; however, the aforementioned jihadist group was able to repel the advance by nightfall on Tuesday.

Following the Syrian Arab Army’s failed attack, local sources reported a large influx of jihadist rebels near the southern farms of Al-Malaah.

The jihadist rebels are likely to launch a counter-assault in the coming hours as they look to reverse the Syrian Arab Army’s gains at the Al-Malaah Farms near the Al-Castillo Highway.

Meanwhile, as the jihadists mobilize their fighters in Al-Malaah, the Russian Air Force is pounding the ‘Anadan Plains with a relentless barrage of airstrikes, killing a large number of militants at the villages of Haritan, Hayyan, and Bayyanoun.
