DAMASCUS, SYRIA (4:15 A.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) carried out a powerful assault against the jihadist rebels of Harakat Ahrar Al-Sham and Jabhat Fateh Al-Sham (formerly Al-Nusra Front) on Wednesday, targeting their positions along the Hadar-Quneitra Road in the Golan Heights.

Led by Fouj Al-Joulan (Golan Regiment), the Syrian Armed Forces managed to secure the northern part of the Hadar-Quneitra Road after capturing the key hilltop of Tal Al-Naqar in the Golan Heights region of Al-Quneitra.

With the recent advances in the Golan Heights, the Syrian Armed Forces are in position to push further south of Hadar towards the heart of jihadist-held Al-Quneitra.

While Fouj Al-Joulan and Liwaa Suqour Al-Quneitra (Al-Quneitra Hawks Brigade) push south along the Hadar-Quneitra Road, the Syrian Arab Army’s 42nd Brigade of the 4th Mechanized Division is being tasked to capture the jihadist-held territory east of Hadar.

In the coming weeks, the 42nd Brigade and their comrades from the 7th Armored Division will be pouring into the Al-Quneitra Governorate to begin their military operations.

These are not hard and fast rules, merely guidelines to aid the human judgment of our community and keep this a clean and well-lighted place for civilized public discourse.

Improve the Discussion

Help us make this a great place for discussion by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.
