ALEPPO, SYRIA (4:15 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army (SAA), alongside Hezbollah and Harakat Nujaba (Iraqi paramilitary), captured several sites in southern Aleppo over the last 48 hours, putting them in position to seize the strategic 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project.
The Syrian Armed Forces and their allies resumed the southern Aleppo offensive this past weekend after a taking a brief hiatus to observe the short-lived humanitarian ceasefire.
Led by the 800th Regiment of the Republican Guard and Hezbollah, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to recapture the Air Defense Base that is located near the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project.
This advance resulted in the Syrian Armed Forces and Hezbollah seizing Tal Bazou earlier today, leaving them within striking distance of the Hikmah School.
Now, the Syrian Armed Forces and their allies are making a strong push to capture the 1070 Housing Project and Hikmah School before the jihadist rebels of Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest) launch their assault in the coming days.
