BEIRUT, LEBANON (7:00 P.M.) – A large U.S. military convoy entered Syria this week to deliver weapons and armored vehicles to the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

According to reports, the U.S. military was delivering these weapons to the Syrian Democratic Forces’ units that are currently combating the so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) in the Deir Ezzor province.

The delivery of these weapons to the SDF has been the source of turmoil between Washington and Ankara, as Turkey views the U.S. Coalition’s equipping of the Kurdish forces in Syria as form of support to terrorists.

The Syrian Democratic Forces have been involved in a fierce battle with the Daesh terrorists for several months in the Hajin region of southeast Deir Ezzor.

Daesh has refused to concede their last positions east of the Euphrates; this has forced the SDF to try and eliminate the terrorist group’s pocket, despite the fact they are deeply entrenched near the key town of Hajin.

Hope that this time the Turkish Padisha’s reactions will overstep the line between liberty and licence and he will be punished.

Acc to several sources SDF has been mobilising over 15.000 fighters from battle hardened factions within SDF. With more equipment, more experience and with support from US they will be able to overcome IS in Hajin, and then swiftly reinforce the northern border against invading Turks.

Coalition, US , SDF will not accept Turkey to destroy Manbij and create a new Afrin.

Everybody will be pleased that apparently SDF started a huge advance on Hajin pocket from 2 axis, several hours ago. First reports tell of large advances, maybe IS were surprised.

Elsewhere there are reports of larger scale fighting between turkish mercenaries and SDF near Aleppo. SDF doing well.

@Sweet Robert, NATO is not Turkey but a defence pact. Remember when NATO declined to back up Turk provocations such as downing foreign planes?

@Sweet Robert, Turkey is an aggressor state that is at odds with all neighbors because of its irredentism. You could hardly say that about NATO or that NATO supports such irredentist Turkish policies.

Actually, Turkey is seen as “NATO only on paper” for a while…
Erdolf is at odds with both USA and the EU and well, Putin is even helping Erdogan’s crash-course…
Was it up to me, he’d had already seen a SCALP-EG going through the window of his office…

Turkey has always been only in the NATO on paper and to get free handouts to fund irredentist stratagems of Grey Wolf associates.

Your pathetic racist propaganda is old and boring. The idea of a free, democratic Syria frightens you, we get that. Turkey is not NATO though, Turkey is ISIS.

Your ignorance frightens me. Standing up for those persecuted and oppressed by YPG does not not make me a racist. Truth is not boring propaganda but rather a reality which you do not want to face. Deal with it, yourself and whomever you refer to as “we”.
