BEIRUT, LEBANON (3:20 P.M.) – A large Turkish Army convoy reportedly entered the northwestern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate on Saturday.
According to a new report from opposition activists, the Turkish military sent a large convoy to the Afrin region of northwest Aleppo to resume their large-scale security operation.
The report added that the Turkish Army and their allies from the National Liberation Front were going to intensify their security operation to arrest wanted criminals in Afrin.
No further details were released.
Earlier this month, the Turkish Army and their allies launched a big security operation to arrest rebel fighters that were accused of looting and kidnapping in the Afrin region.
The operation resulted in heavy clashes between the Turkish Army and the rebel forces accused of committing these crimes.
