The Islamic State of Iraq and Al-Sham (ISIS) had a rough 72 hours inside of western Iraq this past weekend, as all 4 of their large-scale offensives ended in complete disaster and retreat.
ISIS’ largest offensive took place at the city of Haditha, where they sent in hundreds of terrorists to overrun the Iraqi Army’s defensive positions, only to be routed by the same forces 24 hours later
Determined to make up for the loss of Al-Ramadi, ISIS launched offensives at the 10th Division’s Headquarters, Tharthar, Speicher, and Camp Tariq in the city of Fallujah; these were all repelled by the Iraqi Army this past weekend.
According to reports from several Iraqi battlefield journalists, ISIS suffered heavy casualties at Haditha and the other sites they attacked, resulting in a death toll that exceeds 150 enemy combatants.
