DAMASCUS, SYRIA (2:00 A.M.) – A large group of reinforcements from the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reportedly arrived at the Kuweires Military Airport in east Aleppo on Tuesday night after making a long journey from the Tartous Governorate.

Nearly 800 soldiers from the Syrian Arab Army reportedly departed from Tartous on Tuesday morning in order to reinforce the Kuweires Military Airport amid the latest advance by the Turkish-backed rebels near Al-Bab.

On Monday, the Turkish-backed rebels found themselves within 2km of Al-Bab’s northern district, marking the closest approach for any force since the jihadist rebels were expelled by the Islamic State terrorists from the town in 2014.

The Turkish regime stated that they plan to head towards Menbeij after the Al-Bab offensive; however, their own rebel forces claimed they are pushing towards Aleppo City.
