BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 P.M.) – A large convoy of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) soldiers was seen heading to the western part of Aleppo city, today, after reports of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham seizing most of the provincial capital’s western countryside.

According to a military source in Aleppo, the Syrian Arab Army reinforcements made their way to the western districts of Aleppo city, where they took up positions near the jihadist front-lines.

The source said that the collapse of the Turkish-backed rebels in the area will force the Syrian Arab Army to clear the western countryside of the province from the jihadists that have expanded their presence.

The jihadists referenced above are members of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham; they are the largest radical rebel group that is currently operating in northern Syria.
