BEIRUT, LEBANON (2:40 P.M.) – Another large convoy of Syrian Arab Army (SAA) reinforcements made their way to the western part of Aleppo city this week, a source told Al-Masdar News.
According to the source, the Syrian Arab Army reinforcements were redeployed from southern Syria to the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter in west Aleppo.
The Syrian Army reinforcements reportedly joined forces with the Republican Guard troops that have been deployed at the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter since 2012.
With this latest batch of reinforcements, the Syrian Arab Army has managed to greatly build-up their troops in west Aleppo for a potential military operation against the jihadist rebels of Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham.
The Syrian Arab Army has already warned the jihadist rebels about remaining inside the Al-Zahra’a Association Quarter; however, Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham responded with a fierce attack on the western districts of Aleppo.
Since Turkey is not stepping in to force Hay’at Tahrir Al-Sham to retreat from Al-Zahra’a, the Syrian Arab Army will likely take matters in their hands and carry out a powerful military operation.
