DAMASCUS, SYRIA (5:40 P.M.) – Five Turkey-affiliated militants were killed in separate attacks carried out by Kurdish fighters across Afrin region in northern Syria.
According to YPG sources, Kurdish units ambushed a vehicle for the Hamza Division while moving on the road leading to Dersiwane village of Shera district.
The ambush, which took place on September 24, killed the three militants onboard.
The slain fighters were identified as Amir al-Faraj, Sadiq al-Sharif and Massoud al-Sayegh.
On the same day, another militants from Hamza Division by Kurdish fire on the road linking Rajo to Haj Khalil town.
On September 25, a Kurdish sniper shot dead a fighter for the Turkish-backed Sultan Abdul Hamid Brigade in the Nebi Houri area in Shara district. The killed was identified as Ali al-Omar who is originally from Aleppo.
