BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:40 A.M.) – The Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) launched a counter-assault in the northern part of the Afrin Canton, Wednesday, targeting the areas they recently lost to the Turkish-backed rebels.

The YPG counter-assault would ultimately pay off as they were able to retake many areas they had previously lost to the Turkish-backed rebels on Tuesday.

Among the areas recaptured by the YPG on Wednesday were the Basraya Mountains and key town of Hamam in the northern part of the Afrin Canton.

The YPG was able to retake these areas on Wednesday after they repelled another major assault by the Turkish-backed rebels.

Wait till the huge Turkish army arrived. If ever there was one after Erdogan’s purges of air force and officer corps.

p.s. So far we have seen the beginning of a Winter War (1930-40 Russian attack on Finland). Where the powerful aggressor is held up by the defenders.

Although those Kurdish traitors lost my support long time ago, I’m glad they are killing Turks and their useful idiots.
