BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:25 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued their military operations in northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate on Saturday, striking the Free Syrian Army’s defenses near the Turkish border..
According to reports from local activists, the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to enter the villages of Mura’naz and Kuljabreen in northern Aleppo; this advance resulted in a fierce battle with the Free Syrian Army militants on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, near the Tabaqa Dam on the Euphrates River, the Syrian Democratic Forces struck another Islamic State installation, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists in the process.
In response to this attack by the Syrian Democratic Forces, the Islamic State has forced civilians in the village of Al-Musharifah to flee the town before the Kurdish-led fighters reach the Islamic State’s front-lines.
