BEIRUT, LEBANON (9:30 A.M.) – The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Turkish-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) agreed to exchange corpses on Saturday after U.S. military mediation.

According to local reports, the exchange was made on Saturday night between the two parties in the northern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate, near the Turkish border-crossing.

The Syrian Democratic Forces agreed to exchange 8 captured Free Syrian Army fighters and 5 of their corpses; in return, the Kurdish militia received 5 of dead fighters that were killed a few months ago.

The exchange took place near the village of ‘Aoun Al-Dadat, which is located directly north of the rebel stronghold of Menbeij.
