BEIRUT, LEBANON (10:40 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) are preparing for a major showdown with the Turkish military in the northeastern countryside of the Aleppo Governorate.

According to local activists, the YPG was seen raising trenches and building new fortifications around western Manbij amid reports of a possible military operation by the Turkish Army.

Furthermore, the YPG brought in reinforcements in order to strengthen their forces around Manbij.

The Turkish regime’s recent comments about the presence of Kurdish fighters inside Manbij has raised a lot of red flags for the YPG, as it appears Ankara is preparing to launch a new operation to expel the group from the city.

While the U.S. currently has a military presence in Manbij, it appears Turkey is not willing to budge; they are demanding the complete withdrawal of the YPG or else they will attack.

If the Kurds could try diplomacy outside of the US interests they would be wise to come to an agreement with the Syrian Government in order to get S-300 air defense Manbij. I can guarantee that Syria would rather have Manbij in the hands of the Kurds than Turkey and I’m sure the Kurds feel the same way.

US deployed exactly the same radars KSA uses to intercept Houthi ballistic missiles. These are coupled with Patriot (or SkyCeptor/David’s Sling) batteries and barely have no other interest than this. They didn’t advertised if batteries are deployed or not but, again, no other interest since these are AESA targetting radars… Number of US diplomats have doubled in Rojava, US apply CAATSA sanctions on Turkey for S-400 purchase while both India and Vietnam got a waiver and are not even NATO. Actually, my buddy at NATO already told me several time that Turkey might be expelled from the alliance, that they… Read more »

Yanks installed the same targetting radars Saudis use to shoot down Houthi ballistic missiles. They didn’t said if Patriots were installed but these have no use without these batteries, so…

Una oportunidad para que entregue al ejercito Sirio, esa sería la mejor opción para la población Kurda, Erdogan está empeñado con exterminar Kurdos y EE.UU. no le va proteger por que el gobierno Sirio también es su enemigo.

Here again we will witness the “value” of the kurds to the u.s. and here again we will see why they should of stood with syria instead of being traitors to the country they live in, lets hope they get what they deserve and russia and syria can playthe long game and retake it from the filthy jihadi scum at a later date.
