ALEPPO, SYRIA (8:15 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) launched a powerful attack against the Turkish-backed rebels of Jabhat Al-Shamiya (Levantine Front) in the northern Aleppo countryside, expelling them from another village near the Turkish border-crossing.
According to the People’s Protection Units (YPG) official media wing, the Syrian Democratic Forces managed to capture the village of Tal Madiq after a short battle with Jabhat Al-Shamiya.
The capture of Tal Madiq comes just 24 hours after the Syrian Democratic Forces expelled Jabhat Al-Shamiya and their allies from the village of Tal Jijan in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
Following their expulsion from Tal Jajin, the Free Syrian Army issued a statement that accused the Syrian Air Force of aiding the Kurdish-led forces in northern Aleppo; this was denied by an official source from the latter.
