BEIRUT, LEBANON (1:00 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF) liberated several sites from the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization on Thursday, killing and wounding several militants amid their large-scale advance in northeast Al-Raqqa.
According to the SDF’s official media wing, their forces liberated the villages of Al-Qandeel Al-Sharqi, Abu Jandal, and Mahbash in the northeastern countryside of the Al-Raqqa Governorate.
With their latest advance in northeastern Al-Raqqa, the Syrian Democratic Forces have managed to clear much of this region, paving the way for their comrades in the west to push closer to the provincial capital.
