BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:50 P.M.) – The Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continued their large-scale offensive in the eastern countryside of Al-Raqqa Governorate on Tuesday, targeting the Islamic State’s defenses along the Raqqa-Deir Ezzor Highway.

Backed by U.S. Coalition airstrikes, the Syrian Democratic Forces liberated the village of Khass Hibal and the nearby Al-Kulayb Grain Silos, leaving them within 43km of the provincial capital.

As a result of this advance, the Syrian Democratic Forces are now on the verge of cutting off the Islamic State from the Raqqa-Deir Ezzor Highway.

Perhaps one of the Islamic State’s most important supply routes, the Raqqa-Deir Ezzor Highway has been constantly used by the terrorist group to transport supplies and reinforcements from Iraq to Raqqa City.

Breaking the supply route is the first nail into the coffin of Raqqa.
Modern warfare needs fuel. The immobile defender will loose.

Well, actually, it’s even a scandal that some air force doesn’t have at least permanently 2-3 armed drones to make it a no drive zone!
The limited or poor, voluntarily or not, use of air support really makes me boil! This s**t should have stopped for long.

Preoccupied with killing persons. For starts at their uniforms. Looking like XMS trees with tinsel lametta.

A no drive zone especially for oil supplies is less flashy.

But final.
