BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:00 P.M.) – The Turkish-backed rebels launched another big assault on the strategic mountain of Jabal Basraya in the northeastern part of the Afrin Canton today.

Backed by heavy artillery from the Turkish Army, the Euphrates Shield fighters repeatedly attempted to breakthrough the defenses of the Kurdish-led People’s Protection Units (YPG) at this mountaintop in a bid to control Afrin’s highest point.

However, the attack would ultimately be repelled by the YPG forces, as they were able to beat back all infiltration attempts by the Turkish-backed rebels this afternoon.

The Euphrates Shield fighters will likely make another attempt to capture this mountain in the coming hours, as having control over Jabal Basraya is a high priority for the Turkish Army’s High Command that are overseeing Operation Olive Branch.

Turkey has only been successful in its aeriel attacks which are known by everyone to not be any use without proper ground support! Look at the mess in Yemen! Those beautiful houthi forces are having a whale of a… Read more »

They may have the weapons, but they have nobody who knows what they are doing, because they got rid of scores of their best commanders and thousands of the experienced military after that coup.

Funny to watch though hey ?.

Hey Flash is this another picture taken in Yemen pretending to be YPG . Point is no matter which side you support stick to the truth or you become irrelevant. There are already enough bullshit media sites without you adding to them.
