BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – US President Donald Trump stated that North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has agreed to repatriating US military remains, when speaking at a press conference in Singapore on Tuesday, following his meeting with Kim.
The US president stated that despite the fact he cannot ensure that North Korea would keep its promises, he is convinced that they “want to make a deal.”
“I just feel very strongly, my instinct, my ability or talent, they want to make a deal,” noted Trump.
Later in his speech Trump joked, “I may be wrong. I may stand before you in six months and say, ‘Hey, I was wrong.’ I don’t know that I’ll ever admit that, but I’ll find some kind of an excuse.”
